Head Chef Opportunity at The Inn Collection Group

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at The Coniston Inn, a multi-award-winning pub with rooms in a stunning location. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, with a proven track record of managing a team and achieving budgeted costs. You will be passionate about cooking with fresh, quality ingredients and have a flair for menu planning and costing. A Level 3 food safety certificate and experience with stocktaking and HACCP are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including ordering and stock control.
  • Achieve budgeted costs for food, wastage, and wages.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Train and develop the kitchen team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
