Reliability Maintenance Specialist

Amazon is seeking a skilled Reliability and Maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
- Utilize the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and best practices across our EU sites.
A Day in the Life:
As a Reliability and Maintenance professional, you will be based on-site, allowing you to respond quickly to any equipment issues that arise. Your day will be filled with a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring our sites' equipment is working safely and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to suggest long-term improvements and work collaboratively with senior colleagues to achieve our goals.
About the Team:
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is dedicated to maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work together to install automated packaging systems, oversee general maintenance, and repair key distribution equipment, ensuring our technical operations run smoothly.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification.
- Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
- Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in condition-based monitoring.
- Experience working with print and apply machines.
- Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
