Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Associate to join our Central Associates team. As a key member of our Business Development Sales team, you will provide support on daily and ad hoc requests, developing a deep understanding of RBC BlueBay's investment strategies, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of RBC BlueBay's client requirements and objectives.
  2. Provide daily support to regional client-facing teams, covering a wide range of requests through group email queries.
  3. Develop key relationships and contacts within the RBC BlueBay business to complete requests in a timely manner.
  4. Update regular quarterly and monthly business reporting using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Document query management into internal databases, such as Salesforce, to ensure all stakeholders are aware of progress and contributing towards target completion dates.
  6. Develop expertise through on-the-job training of internal team processes and controls to build a foundation for progression into the business when opportunities arise.
  7. Option to complete the Investment Management Certificate and beyond that, either CISI Level 6 Fund Management module or CFA Level 1, with RBC BlueBay support.
Requirements
  1. Degree educated with at least a 2:1 achieved or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of the financial services industry and interest in investment products and fund structures.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills – confidence to effectively interface at all levels of the firm.
  4. Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  6. Strong communication and organization skills.
  7. Keenness to learn and hit the ground running.
  8. Ability to be resilient and adaptable to undertake a number of tasks and projects concurrently.
  9. A genuine team player.
  10. Displays a positive and energetic attitude.
  11. Can work well with deadlines.
  12. Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
