About the Role

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our global distributed team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architecture solutions using Azure data components, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Synapse, and visualization tools.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and analytics.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics design, and development.
  • Strong expertise in Azure data components, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Synapse, and visualization tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline development.
  • Good working knowledge of troubleshooting data warehouse/analytics systems using Azure Synapse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Apache Spark and the new Fabric framework.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data management.
  • Experience with cloud-based global platform/product design, service management, and product lifecycle management.
