About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Street Cleansing Operative to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of activities to maintain clean streets, including scraping away weeds, sweeping and shovelling silt, cleaning dog mess, removing flyposting and graffiti, emptying litter and dog bins, and removing fly-tipped waste.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the community's needs and concerns, and work to address these through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
