Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the innovation, design, and development of new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product development from concept to finished product stages with the use of Autodesk Inventor
  • Liaising with manufacturing teams to ensure suitability of product designs
  • Providing technical support to the sales and marketing teams on new products
  • Attending project and design meetings
  • Liaising with external suppliers on design related matters

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience within Mechanical design/Product Development
  • Experience with fluid control products is advantageous
  • Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Inventor but other software experience will be considered
  • Based in a commutable distance of Kingswinford
  • Experienced within full product life cycle design
  • Knowledge with FEA simulation and stress analysis
  • HNC or above in a Mechanical or Design related field

Benefits:

  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  • Full-time 37 hour week permanent position
