About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in supporting the busy period over Black Friday and Christmas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and accept deliveries to our warehouse, maintaining accurate records of incoming orders.
  • Maintain relevant paperwork as orders are dispatched to stores and customers.
  • Ensure stock is properly stored and replenished in accordance with company guidelines, including the use of machinery to put away orders at height.
  • Order picking for each of our businesses, including picking orders for stores and individual customer orders for our ecommerce business.
  • Packing orders for our online store, ensuring accurate selection and packaging of products, adding personalization where necessary, and wrapping purchases to a high standard.
  • Communicate any issues with orders or stock levels to colleagues and management to ensure a high-quality service to our customers.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized warehouse environment, minimizing shrinkage.
  • Perform routine checks on machinery and vehicles, reporting any defects or issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Able to work at heights of up to 10m.
  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift, carry, and move boxes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commercial acumen, including understanding of peak seasons.
  • Ability to prioritize work and use initiative.
  • Basic IT skills.

Working Pattern

  • 40-hour working week, with a shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, including varying start and finish times.
  • Required to work every other weekend during peak season.
  • No night work required.
