Overview: KBM Resourcing is seeking a seasoned Project Management Specialist to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion within the Subsea Flexible Umbilical Cable division.

Experience Requirements: While experience in subsea projects is preferred, candidates with a background in Oil & Gas, particularly in flexible cable laying systems, tensioners, reel drive systems, and winches, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management activities, including defining the scope of work, managing client relationships and expectations, allocating resources, and ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
  • Conduct cost monitoring and control for assigned projects, generating both internal and client-facing progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all established procedures and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and coordinate all project activities within the overall project timeline, ensuring that all actions and deliverables align with project requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and the organization regarding project interfaces.
  • Support and mentor team members in their professional development alongside senior management.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, including budget adherence, schedule alignment, and risk assessments to senior leadership on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of formal project management methodologies, including initiation, planning, execution, closure, Earned Value Management, Critical Path Analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills with clients in a project context, presenting both commercial and technical solutions for scope changes and developing mutually beneficial strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing flexible cable laying systems, tensioners, reel drive systems, and winches is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or engineering within the Oil & Gas sector or an engineering service provider is required.
  • Proven experience in managing project P&L, executing project contracts, and meeting client expectations is essential.
  • A track record of effective cost control and delivering projects on time and within budget is required.
