Job Opportunity: Trainee Specialist Hygiene Technician

Rentokil Initial, a leading provider of specialist deep cleaning and disinfection services, is seeking a Trainee Specialist Hygiene Technician to join their team in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a varied and dynamic environment, visiting different customers to carry out cleaning and disinfection tasks. As a Trainee Specialist Hygiene Technician, you will be professionally trained in each product and service, as well as health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out cleaning and disinfection tasks in various settings, including restaurants, kitchens, and other commercial environments.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, using company-provided equipment and PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including regular overtime and weekend work, which is paid at a premium rate.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence for 2 years or over, with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Be self-motivated, reliable, and proactive, with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
