Role Objective:
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will assist in various phases of project development, preparing procedures and comprehensive reports to ensure project advancement and efficiency. Collaborating with a team of Project Engineers, you will engage at all project levels, from proposals to execution, with responsibilities that may include visiting client sites both onshore and offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technical setup and execution of projects.
- Assist in drafting and managing construction and environmental method statements, along with other necessary documentation.
- Conduct investigations as needed.
- Help prepare technical specifications, calculations, and designs for CAD documentation.
- Interpret customer technical specifications, addressing all technical and commercial aspects of projects.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of civil and structural components.
- Organize and prioritize tasks within the overall project timeline and client needs.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing and taking notes as required.
- Monitor project progress and report against plans, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in managing costs and schedules to stay within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Prepare daily progress reports while offshore.
- Facilitate communication and management of third-party contractors to ensure equipment suitability.
- Support justifications for contractual variations during projects to uphold subsequent commercial claims.
- Understand client requirements, identifying design parameters and engineering challenges, ensuring effective solutions are applied.
- Provide supervision for grouting operations, including mechanics and technicians onshore and offshore.
- Assist in managing subcontractor expeditions.
- Timely produce timesheets and ensure accurate recording of hours worked offshore.
- Support project engineering reviews and assist in resolving any arising issues.
- Understand and ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies while onshore and offshore.

Qualifications & Experience:
- MEng or BEng in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Possession of a full U.K. driving license.
- Basic Pro Engineer / CAD training is desirable.
- Prior experience in an offshore organization is a plus.
- OGUK Medicals (training can be provided).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £32,000.
