About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Controller to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for supporting the Workshop Manager in the running of the internal parts department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Workshop Manager in the day-to-day running of the internal parts department
  • Manage the workshop budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and improvement
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong budgeting and cost control skills, with experience of managing budgets and forecasting
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
