About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Operative to join our team at Pertemps Exeter. As a key member of our recycling team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of materials on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working under the supervision of the site manager, you will be responsible for processing materials that arrive on site.
  • You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, operating forklifts and ensuring the safe handling of materials.
  • As part of a close-knit team, you will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role, such as production, factory, or warehouse work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work Saturdays, if required.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £25,038 per annum.
  • Overtime paid at £19.26 per hour after 40 hours worked per week.
  • A 30-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid break.
