Carpenter Locksmith

Location: HMP Belmarsh (Category A Male Prison)

Salary: £29,941.44 + £2,500 in allowances + 5% of basic salary for shift and weekend working

Contract: Full Time - Permanent (39 hours)

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter with locksmith skills to join our team at HMP Belmarsh. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the prison's facilities, including woodworking and locksmith tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair prison facilities, including woodworking and locksmith tasks
• Ensure the security and safety of the prison and its occupants
• Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve facility maintenance goals

Requirements:

• Experience in woodworking and locksmithing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
