About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading by example, providing invaluable support to children and young people, and working closely with our experienced support workers to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home
  • Provide supervision and guidance to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED regulations
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably in a leadership role
  • Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies
  • Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and on-call duties
  • Full UK driving license, as the role requires travel to various locations
