About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to lead the development of our materials platform at Materials Nexus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the product vision and ensuring that all development efforts contribute to its realization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and evolve the platform development roadmap.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify needs, trends, and opportunities, and translate these into development actions.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Interact with customers and partners to scope out new projects and report on the status of current work.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators to measure product and company success.
Requirements
  • Experience in creating and managing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience using project management tools.
  • Experience with go-to-market planning.
  • Experience of working with government funded projects.
  • Understanding of the commercial materials science space.
  • Understanding of software development processes.
