Role Overview:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure at Digital Waffle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless deployment and scalability of our applications. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and PHP or Python will be essential in optimising our systems for performance and reliability.

  1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to streamline continuous integration and deployment processes.
  3. Utilise Kafka for efficient data streaming and messaging.
  4. Work with PHP or Python to automate tasks and enhance system functionality.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer in an AWS environment.
  2. Strong proficiency in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and PHP or Python.
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment.
