Cameron Kennedy Limited is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our growing Corporate Actions division.

Essential Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Actions, encompassing both UK and international markets.
  • Residency in the UK with the ability to work within the country (this role does not offer sponsorship).

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with Third Party Administrators (TPA) on all corporate action-related matters.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of corporate actions (both UK and international) and their implications for Wealth Management portfolios.
  • Grasping the concept of book costs in relation to corporate actions.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for all Front Office inquiries regarding corporate actions, actively engaging with TPA to ensure prompt resolutions.
  • Assisting in various aspects of corporate actions.
  • Continuously evaluating TPA services to identify potential enhancements or modifications that could yield operational efficiencies.
  • Participating in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, particularly in relation to corporate actions.
  • Enhancing processes within the Operations Oversight Team by leveraging IT development and Microsoft products.
  • Providing support to the Operations Oversight team as necessary.

Accountabilities:

  • Delivering regular updates to the Head of Operations, including relevant management information.
  • Engaging in the preparation of appropriate governance to ensure that individuals responsible for TPA oversight and policy compliance, including regulatory updates, can fulfill their obligations.
  • Reviewing corporate actions on a daily basis.
  • Communicating mandatory corporate actions to the Front Office in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Ensuring timely responses to all voluntary corporate actions.
  • Conducting operational and TPA oversight activities as needed to facilitate the smooth daily operations of the Oversight Team.
