Job Summary
MacGregor Black is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement strategies for improving production output and reducing downtime.
- Work closely with production staff to identify and address any issues related to refrigeration systems.
- Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and improving the overall efficiency of refrigeration systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in the planning and execution of capital engineering projects to support business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in a refrigeration or cold chain role.
- NVQ in Servicing/Maintaining Refrigeration Systems or equivalent qualification.
- ACRIB, FGAS, and 2079 Refrigerant Handling certifications.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Predictive Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
