Job Title: Research Coordinator

We are working with a leading London-based university to recruit a Research Coordinator for a prestigious research hub.

Job Summary:

The Research Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the research hub, including its budgets, accounts, and administrative structure. The successful candidate will have experience in managing scientific or industrial projects and a strong understanding of research grant funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the engagement with sponsors, academic partners, and other stakeholders from industry, academia, and government.
  2. Coordinate the quarterly and annual project reports and provide financial advice and support to relevant academic staff and students.
  3. Support the hub's public engagement and online presence, including maintaining a proactive management of the hub's social media presence.
  4. Assist with the day-to-day running of the group's research web pages and social media output.
  5. Experience with publicity, such as scientific writing or the creation of web pages, including hosting a social media presence.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of research grant funding and experience in managing scientific or industrial projects. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
