Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client, a leading Social Housing contractor, in Birmingham. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Inspect properties pre and post works, identifying and addressing any issues
- Take progress meetings with site teams, including Assistant Site Managers, RLOs, and in-house labour
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the programme, ensuring timely completion of projects
- Manage sub-contractors, ensuring they meet the required standards
- Set up and maintain health and safety documentation, including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
Requirements:
- SMSTS qualification
- Current Scaffold Inspection Certificate
- First Aid certification
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
