Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Belfast. As a Data Scientist at Napier AI, you will play a key role in developing and implementing AI-enhanced solutions to combat financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to improve efficiencies in their compliance processes and reduce false positives and false negatives in their risk identification processes.
  • Develop and tune existing AML models and build new ones to solve emerging problems in the anti-money laundering landscape.
  • Work with product and development teams to continuously build and enhance our platform.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Python development and machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of statistical underpinnings of data science.
  • Experience in data analytics, manipulation, and transformation.
  • Ability to produce production-ready code deployed in containers.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and efficient computation.
  • Knowledge and experience in Rust and Google Vertex would be beneficial.
