About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our mission to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Society's universal services in the Sheffield area.

As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, you will play a vital role in increasing reach in our local communities by attending local events, holding information stands, and displaying leaflets in highly visible locations such as libraries and GP surgeries.

You will ensure that the information publicised in your community is up-to-date and accurate, and establish connections with local organisations and community groups to help achieve widespread awareness of our support services.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive branded clothing and may have the opportunity to be included in event pictures to showcase our work in the local media.

This role will enable us to increase our impact in Sheffield, and we are looking for two volunteers who can work together and attend local events and forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support local events and hold information stands
  • Display leaflets in highly visible locations
  • Establish connections with local organisations and community groups
  • Ensure information is up-to-date and accurate
