Job Title: Technical Specialist - Non Destructive Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Team based in Coventry. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering technical excellence across a portfolio of projects, providing thought leadership on the delivery of innovative technical solutions, and leading the development of value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Lead the development of value propositions and technical roadmaps to meet the manufacturing challenges identified by the Industrial Sectors.
  • Identify collaborative research and development funding opportunities and develop winning proposals to fund the development of value propositions.
  • Provide technical governance and guidance to colleagues on project delivery processes.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues in an empathetic manner.
Requirements:
  • Degree-calibre engineer, technologist, scientist or mathematician with a high level of industrial experience.
  • Technical expertise in ultrasonic inspection methods and additional NDT techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
