Estates Assistant

Join CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, as an Estates Assistant. In this role, you will provide critical support to the Contracted Accounts team, working closely with data, finance, and transaction management colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize head-lease, service charge, and other payments.
- Engage in the service charge challenge process, analyzing landlord's service charge information and challenging budgets and reconciliations.
- Authorize tenant charges.
- Ensure data accuracy and update property information on the database.
- Routine liaison with client Estates & Operations Teams, solicitors, tenants, landlords, and third parties.
- Manage day-to-day operations of third-party providers, including residential, car park, rating, microcell, and security services.
- Request landlord's consent for alterations, assignments, change of use, wayleaves, and under-lettings, and manage similar applications from subtenants.
- Support the Finance Team with tenant account queries to minimize arrears.
- Manage squatters and respond to repair requests and title checks from clients, tenants, and third parties.
- Some experience in commercial or residential property management is preferred.
- Experience with Horizon or other property databases is an advantage.
- PowerPoint experience is useful.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under time pressure are required.
