**Job Summary**

Diverse Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining full compliance with our company's SLA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Cost-Effective Delivery Plans: Create and implement delivery plans that enable targets to be met and customers to maintain production while dealing with real-time event management.
  2. Support Planning and Resource Allocation: Assist with planning to ensure the planned number of drivers are available to complete the delivery plan.
  3. Issue Escalation and Resolution: Escalate any issues or discrepancies to the planning team and service delivery manager for prompt resolution.
  4. Fleet Maintenance and Compliance: Follow the planned maintenance schedule to ensure the company's fleet remains fully compliant while delivering operational efficiency.
  5. Resource Management and Control: Daily management and control of all resources, including agency, internal support, and subcontractors, to adhere to and achieve trunking requirements.
  6. Shortfall Escalation and Communication: Escalate any shortfall of resource to the Transport Planner and Service Delivery Manager, ensuring effective communication of any issues to internal and external parties.
  7. Issue Reporting and Handover: Ensure effective communication of any issues, including driver misconduct, late deliveries, delays, incidents, and accidents, to internal and external parties via agreed methods.
  8. Handover and Distribution: Control, compilation, and distribution of handover amongst peers.
  9. Contract Performance Improvement: Consistently strive to improve contract transport performance.
  10. Fleet Administration Support: Support the Fleet Admin out of core hours with the daily management, update, and distribution of washout lists and registers.
  11. Defect and Breakdown Management: Record and action defects or breakdowns in the absence of Fleet Admin.
  12. Deputy Transport Planner: Deputise in the absence of the Transport Planner.
  13. Financial Awareness: Demonstrate financial awareness and understanding of the company's financial goals and objectives.
  14. Vehicle Planning Experience: Possess experience in vehicle planning and logistics.
  15. Challenging Office Environment: Work effectively in a challenging office environment.
