Electrical Installation Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team at a key client in the Northwest. This is a minimum 3-month contract with the opportunity for extension.

The successful candidate will be involved in the installation of electrical panels to customer sites within the FMCG industry across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-site installation of panels for mechanical equipment, primarily conveyors.
  • Interpreting and working with technical electrical engineering drawings.
  • Collaborating closely with panel builders and drafters as needed.
  • Willingness to assist with mechanical tasks when required.
Requirements:
  • Highly experienced in electrical engineering ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Hands-on experience working on components such as drives & motors.
  • Ability to read electrical engineering drawings.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferable).
Benefits:
  • Outside IR35 – Limited co. contractors.
  • Up to 70 hours p/w on site.
  • Day shifts working Monday to Friday with Overtime available.
  • Travel/Digs paid.
