Purchase Ledger Administrator Opportunity

Eden Scott is pleased to support our long-standing client in their search for a Purchase Ledger Administrator. This permanent, full-time role is based in Turriff and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's purchase ledger, ensuring accurate recording and processing of supplier invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Post invoices to the accounting system and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure timely payments within agreed payment terms and authorized according to company policy.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
  • Regularly reconcile supplier statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed.
  • Reconcile the purchase ledger control account to the general ledger monthly.
  • Generate reports on aged creditors, payment schedules, and outstanding invoices.
  • Provide analysis of the purchase ledger and suggest improvements to processes or controls.
