Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Blue Team Instructor to join our team of cybersecurity professionals. As a Senior Blue Team Instructor, you will play a critical role in educating and training the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date blue team training materials, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead instructor-led training sessions, both in-classroom and through online platforms, to impart knowledge and practical skills in areas such as threat detection, incident response, and network security.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and guidance to students, offering real-world insights and advice to help them develop into proficient blue team professionals.
  • Create and manage realistic, hands-on training labs that simulate various cyber threat scenarios, allowing students to practice and apply their skills in a controlled environment.
  • Evaluate student progress, performance, and skill development through regular assessments, assignments, and feedback sessions, and provide constructive input for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field, such as cybersecurity, information technology, or computer science.
  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or other relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience in a blue team role, including incident response, threat detection, and network security.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or instructing adults, preferably in a formal educational setting.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and tactics.
