Executive Chef

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Chef to join our team at ESS, a leading provider of food services to Defence, Government, and Energy sectors. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the dietary needs of our clients and customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes
• Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Support with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Represent ESS and maintain a positive brand image
• Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working
