About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Southampton. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, including financial performance and management, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for audit clients, providing financial performance and management expertise.
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients, including audit testing, consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing support and guidance throughout the year.
- Manage audit resources to ensure engagements have the right mix of knowledge and skills required.
- Collaborate with the national Audit & Assurance team to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACCA or ACA qualified with significant prior experience managing a portfolio of audit clients. You should have strong technical ability, including a working knowledge of recent developments in audit, accounting, and tax compliance.
