Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Indus Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the receipt and inspection of shipments to ensure quality and quantity.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics service providers.
  3. Audit freight costs and documentation to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  4. Ensure accurate inventory management and reconciliation.
  5. Coordinate the creation of packing lists and update shipment information in our database.
  6. Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files.
  7. Monitor and facilitate repair orders and coordinate deliveries for returned items.
  8. Ensure the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries and that all items are properly numbered and tagged.
  9. Reconcile hand receipts and manage warehouse security-related tasks.
  10. Ensure regular supply of essential items to health centers and maintain tracking mechanisms for stock at health facility level.
  11. Manage fleet, assets, and inventory at district and health facility levels.
  12. Provide support in monthly meetings with District Coordinators and ensure facility stock registers are properly updated.
  13. Produce monthly and quarterly reports on stock levels, temperature, and humidity records.
  14. Generate demand for essential items based on consumption reports.
  15. Maintain a record section in the warehouse and dispose of damaged items according to SOPs.
  16. Manage the quarantine section for short-expiry and expired stock.
