Job Opportunity: Grants Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Officer to join our team at Wealden District Council. As a Grants Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing successful funding applications to support the delivery of our Council's Strategic objectives and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer grants and funding applications on behalf of the Council
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community groups, public sector organizations, and businesses
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funding partners to secure grants and funding opportunities
  • Provide administrative support for the Council's grant-making process

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in funding applications and grant writing
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
