As a member of a dynamic and supportive team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. This role emphasizes stock management, forecasting, and comprehensive analysis, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Your contributions will be vital in achieving positive financial results through data analysis and teamwork across various departments.

This part-time position offers a competitive annual salary of up to £45,000 pro rata.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Analyze and optimize inventory levels to ensure precise financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations to uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Create and maintain cash flow forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operational managers, the commercial manager, and sales teams to deliver financial insights and support.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Oversee and reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to various financial projects and initiatives as needed.

Candidate Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Driven with a strong desire to develop and acquire new skills.
  • Able to challenge and seek improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Confident and effective communicator across all levels and departments.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with inventory management is highly desirable.
