Job Opportunity: Food Production Operative

Connect Appointments is seeking reliable individuals to fill the role of Food Production Operative with one of our esteemed food production clients based in Shotts.

Key Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 working hours
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12, with overtime paid up to £27.60 per hour
  • All breaks are paid, ensuring a fair work-life balance

As a Food Production Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining production machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring proper housekeeping in a food production environment
  • Cleaning and sanitizing utensils and other production equipment
  • Maintaining cleaning supply stocks and ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Performing general production duties as required, including hand packing products
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with food regulations

To succeed in this production role, you will ideally have previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. Additionally, you should possess strong attention to detail, good time-keeping skills, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
