CNC Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd in Cradley Heath. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating a 5-axis CNC machining centre to cut and drill steel components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Elumatec SBZ-151 CNC machining centre to produce high-quality steel components.
  • Work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Measure materials before cutting to ensure precision.
  • Load and unload the machine to maintain efficiency.
Working Hours and Pay:
  • Working hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (1:30pm finish on Fridays).
  • Pay rate: £12.59 per hour.
Training and Development:

If you don't have the relevant experience, we offer a training position to assist with loading, unloading, banding, and assembly, paying £11.44 per hour. This role has the potential to lead to a permanent contract after a probationary period.
