About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Technology Centre, Whitchurch Hill, Pangbourne. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas, carrying out all washing up duties, and assisting with basic food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.
- Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
- Clean and sterilize countertops, walls, and sinks.
- Ensure dining room tables are cleared and cleaned daily.
- Assist with basic food preparation if required.
- Clean the dining areas.
- Assist with daily and weekly deep cleans.
- Assist with deliveries and organize them in the correct storage areas.
- Remove waste from waste containers and dispose of them in the correct external bins.
- Provide assistance to front of house and kitchen staff as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Customer-focused and a good communicator.
- Excellent team player.
- DBS check will be required.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00.
- A full-time position with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Shifts from 8:15am to 3:45pm.
