Thornbury Community Services is seeking a qualified Pediatric Complex Care Nurse to provide bespoke care and support to young people in their own homes.
About the Role
We are looking for a children's nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs, particularly those requiring tracheostomy, ventilation, and TPN support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting stability and independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' experience in the UK working with individuals with complex needs.
- Availability for last-minute shifts on an as-needed basis.
- Willingness to travel to client locations.
- Community experience is desirable but not essential.
