Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our SEN Resource Centre in Lambeth. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs, including down syndrome, ASD, and non-verbal students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND, utilizing your knowledge and skills to work alongside the teacher in the classroom or running activity sessions 1:1 or with small groups.
  • Work alongside SEN professionals, including Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists, to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Degree from a UK University.
