Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment on a permanent basis.

About the Role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Mechanical / Design Engineering position
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo
  • Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of various materials, including sheet metal and injection moulded plastics
  • Strong theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize SolidWorks for concept design and produce technical drawings
  • Be involved in final assembly of products
  • Create documentation for design, project reports, and plans
  • Update 3D models and drawings
  • Work on varied projects as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
