Credit Controller

Resourcing Group is currently in search of a Credit Controller to join one of their reputable and thriving clients in the Cambridgeshire region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize outstanding debts for collection.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team and Customer Service to resolve disputed invoices efficiently.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email within set timelines.
  • Negotiate and manage payment plans when necessary.
  • Investigate and respond to Chargebacks as required.
  • Monitor and address failed CPA payments.
  • Maintain an Aged Debt spreadsheet and provide weekly updates to the Head of Finance.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
  • Allocate payments received through various channels.
  • Process refunds as needed.
  • Perform additional Sales Ledger duties as assigned due to system changes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Accurately report and update the debtor list on a daily basis.
  • Adhere closely to debt collection procedures and track outstanding client balances.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Ledger Manager, Sales Team, and Customer Service Manager throughout the collection process.
  • Focus on reducing company debt.
  • Manage Sales Ledger administration and reporting.

This is a full-time, permanent position for a Credit Controller, operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000.
