Job Description

Procurement Manager

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for promoting procurement excellence and delivering high standards. The successful candidate will be a key player in implementing effective procurement strategies to optimize total value across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rationalize and Develop the Supplier Base
    • Develop and implement UK, European, and International sourcing strategies to optimize supplier relationships.
    • Manage the end-to-end tender process, including RFI/RFP, to ensure alignment with business requirements and KPIs/SLAs.
  • Plan and Manage Categories
    • Develop and implement category strategies to meet organizational goals.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure procurement goals and targets are understood and met.
  • Lead Contract Negotiations
    • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships during the contracting process.
    • Support continuous improvement processes within the procurement team and with stakeholders.
  • Provide Commercial Support
    • Provide category-level commercial, contractual, and negotiation support across the group.
    • Manage small to medium size projects and support negotiations for large and complex contracts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 Years Procurement Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years procurement experience with similar responsibilities.
  • Contract Law and Contract Drafting
    • Experience in Contract Law and contract drafting.
  • Commercial Acumen and Negotiation Skills
    • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to establish and influence strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Indirect Category Experience
    • Essential indirect category experience for both Goods and Services.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Time Management and Prioritization
    • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
