This role is situated within the Schools Finance Team, which offers financial guidance to over 600 educational institutions throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist school leaders in effective financial management.
- Supportively challenge schools in establishing and maintaining balanced budgets.
- Generate long-term financial forecasts and budget monitoring reports for school governors.
- Conduct reconciliation of financial management systems.
Job Requirements:
The role necessitates a level of technical expertise to provide guidance to stakeholders. You may be required to work from various locations and undertake additional responsibilities as needed. A suitable workspace and broadband connection at home are essential due to a mix of remote and office-based work.
Additionally, you will be expected to perform other related tasks as directed by service management.
It is important to provide a vehicle for use in connection with job duties and ensure you are insured for business use. However, considerations may be made for candidates unable to drive due to a disability.
