About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Pendle Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, including inventory management and labor scheduling
  • Collaborate with the Inn's leadership team to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve kitchen operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners
