About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations and Public Policy Manager to join our team at Indeed. As a key member of our Government Relations and Public Policy team, you will play a critical role in shaping our public policy efforts in the UK and EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute legislative, regulatory, and political strategies to advance Indeed's policy and business priorities across the UK and EU.
  • Lead Indeed's public policy efforts in the UK and the EU, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve our goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers, trade associations, and other external partners to advance Indeed's interests.
  • Represent Indeed in meetings with coalitions and trade associations to achieve policy goals.
  • Craft public policy positions and talking points for key internal partners.
  • Monitor public policy developments and communicate with relevant business partners on the policy issues impacting them.
  • Achieve alignment between business priorities and public policy goals through partnership with internal legal and business partners.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of the UK's government, legislative, regulatory, and political processes, plus experience working across European countries to influence activities and outcomes in the EU and UK.
  • Experience interpreting, analyzing, and negotiating legislative and regulatory proposals.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and execute advocacy campaigns.
  • Proven mediation skills with an ability to build consensus where appropriate.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to communicate complex and detailed information related to technology policy, and labor and economic data, in a simple, easy to understand manner to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • An innovative and strategic thinker with leadership skills to work with and manage diverse teams of people.
  • A self-starter with an ability to work autonomously while prioritizing initiatives and projects that lead to the most impact and can adjust focus accordingly.

We offer a competitive salary range of £63,500.00-£92,500.00 per year, as well as a range of benefits and perks, including a Paid Time Off policy and many region-specific benefits.
