Our Networks and Innovation team has played a significant role in this development, with specialist studies in network planning and design, data analysis, and the development of innovative planning tools and services. We're now seeking a Head of Networks to lead this development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department management: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Business development and client relationship management:
    • Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth with well-established existing clients.
    • Recruitment and training to ensure the department has the resources and skills to deliver for our clients.
    • Giving guidance and advice in project management and technical delivery of the work.
  • Strategic planning and development:
    • Be an integral part of the team's annual strategic planning and delivery of the agreed plan.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in power system planning and analysis.
  • Good understanding of the GB power system.
  • Commercial awareness of consultancy projects, including setting and adhering to project budgets, scrutiny and understanding of contractual obligations, and identification and mitigation of commercial risks.
