Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant/Trainee Solicitor to join our team at DJF Solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors and conveyancers in managing residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish.
  • Conduct property searches, gather relevant documentation, and ensure all necessary legal paperwork is complete.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the completion of property registrations and Land Registry filings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and client communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Recent previous experience working in the UK (conveyancing or legal environment) is essential.
  • Solid understanding of property law and the conveyancing process.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for legal and administrative tasks.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Job Details:
