IT Infrastructure Engineer - Cardiff

Circle Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support for our Microsoft Server, network infrastructure, cloud technologies, and virtualization platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues
  • Administer Microsoft Server environments
  • Manage and maintain virtualization platforms
  • Support cloud-based solutions, including Azure and AWS
  • Configure and manage backup software, including Veeam
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT Infrastructure Engineer or Senior 2nd Line IT Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. You will be working in a dynamic and growing team, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and virtualization platforms. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary of between GBP35,000 - GBP40,000, plus hybrid working and benefits.
