Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 depending on level of experience

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving team as Head of Department. As a key member of our Private Client department, you will be responsible for leading a team of fee earners and support staff, managing a dynamic case load, and overseeing the growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5 fee earners and support staff
  • Manage a dynamic case load of Private Client work, including Wills, Probate, and Estates
  • Oversee the growth and development of the Private Client department
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive/FCILEx with upwards of 7 years PQE
  • Managerial experience is desirable but not essential
  • A client following or contacts in the Sussex area would be advantageous
