As an Events Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Events to assist in the planning and execution of the company's live events, which include an annual conference and exhibition within the cement sector. We are in search of a versatile individual with comprehensive experience across various stages of event management. This position is based in our office in Farnham, Surrey (UK), and your daily responsibilities will encompass:

· Engaging with our internal teams, suppliers, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors.

· Managing registrations and RSVP processes.

· Overseeing supplier procurement and management (venue, audiovisual, technical support, entertainment, décor, etc.).

· Facilitating delegate communication and support.

· Conducting promotional marketing through social media, websites, and email campaigns.

· Compiling reports and analytics following events.

· Assisting with on-site event setup and execution.

You will work in partnership with various departments across the company, including Sales, Editorial, and Design Production teams. This role may involve some international travel to support our conferences and exhibitions or assist our sales department.

As part of a small office, you may also be tasked with various administrative duties and other responsibilities as needed.

Essential Skills Required:

· A minimum of 2 years of hands-on event planning experience in the B2B sector, particularly in conferences and exhibitions.

· Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Analytical and decision-making abilities, with adaptability to change.

· Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· A deadline-driven mindset with a proactive approach to projects.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

· A keen eye for detail is essential.

· Proficiency in productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Experience:

· Familiarity with Adobe media products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.

· Basic skills in video editing and graphic design.

· Interest or experience in organizing events within the primary sector.

· Experience with digital events such as webinars and virtual gatherings.

· Copywriting abilities.

· Proficiency in using digital platforms like Cvent, GoToWebinar, or GoToMeeting.

· Additional IT skills and software experience, including HTML, SEO, SEM, MailChimp, and Google Analytics.

Salary and Benefits:

· Competitive salary of £30,000, commensurate with experience.
