Culinary Specialist

As a Culinary Specialist at HC-One, you will lead the kitchen team in preparing and serving wholesome, nutritious meals that our Residents will cherish. Your role will involve offering a diverse menu that respects cultural preferences and special dietary needs.

• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and safety of food preparation.
• Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Maintain and inspect kitchen equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Complete necessary documentation, including COSHH and HACCP, while adhering to company standards.
• Assist in organizing special events, such as milestone celebrations and seasonal gatherings.

Your positive energy and interpersonal skills will be vital in creating a welcoming environment. You should be organized, capable of meeting service deadlines, and adept at planning and prioritizing tasks. A passion for food and an understanding of the significance of quality home cooking for our Residents is essential.

Recognizing signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect is crucial. You will be required to attend safeguarding training relevant to your role and know how to report any concerns appropriately.
